Monthly lesson schedule
On a monthly rotation, students will have a combination of 3 private lessons, a group lesson, master class or recital.
All types of lesson activities do not follow a particular weekly/monthly order but are scheduled based on a variety of other personal calendar items.
Please check the Lesson Schedule frequently to avoid from missing lessons.
Private Lesson
Private lessons to reinforce correct playing posture, bow grip and stance with a focus on developing good intonation. You’ll develop better technique, learn new repertoire and prepare for upcoming recitals. Bring your orchestras music as well!
Group Lessons
In groups we will review technique ideas not always discussed in private lessons with a heavy focus on sight-reading, including discussions on music theory, music history and anything else the teacher deems necessary to the students’ overall musical success.
Recitals
Four times per year, students will have the opportunity to prepare repertoire for studio recitals. On occasion, recitals my focus on duets, spiritual works or pop music. However, they will primarily be focused on the Suzuki repertoire or other advanced music.
